“The smart city zone at Area X.O is helping us to build our brand globally. We won an award for the 2020 North American International Auto Show Mobility Challenge by bringing a safety-first autonomous shuttle solution to the auto show. As a part of our submission, we referenced how we have leveraged the capabilities available at Area X.O to develop and commercialize our solution. The adjudication panel was really impressed that we have our own local testbed to prove and validate these technologies.”

We have used it to test our private LTE and 5G networks, with leading companies working on CAVs. We have also tested our drones and integrated operations center technology in first responder scenarios. The facility enables us to put our technology and that of our partners, through extreme real-world conditions. If our Smart City solutions can operate here, they can be adapted to anywhere in the world.”
