Lexus RX 450h
Area X.O owns a bywire-enabled Lexus 450H modified by AutonomouStuff. This is a fully functioning autonomous vehicle and at the same time a research and development platform.
The vehicle is outfitted with “Autoware”, an autonomous driving sensor, and software configuration. This enables the vehicle to be used by companies as a platform to develop and validate their technologies and algorithms within the ROS/Autoware environment. Companies can develop ROS drivers that “plug in” to the open-source environment for data collection in parallel to the standard reference sensors on the vehicle.
