CAV Talent Catalyst Pilot Program
FAQ
*Please note, the CAV Talent Catalyst Program is no longer accepting new applications at this time.*
Invest Ottawa, in partnership with Ontario’s AVIN, are piloting the CAV Talent Catalyst Program delivered by leading industry organizations, including: Accenture, Hexagon (AutonomouStuff), Sensor Cortek, Pleora & VIVA Lab (UOttawa), Aurrigo, BlackBerry QNX, and Nokia.
Candidates who reside in Ontario and meet the technical skills outlined in the CAV Talent survey will be eligible to apply for the program. There are limited spaces available for the program and all eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the recruitment process.
The prerequisites will be clearly outlined in each pilot. Some are open to CAV enthusiasts, while others will require a technical background. However, we want to position each participant for success and strongly recommend that applicants have some technical background and understanding of workshop topics. The CAV Talent Catalyst is looking to bring together participants from various professional and educational backgrounds to provide detailed feedback on the program.
Participants will need access to a computer. If a participant does not have access to a personal computer, please reach out to [email protected] for information about potential computer access assistance programs.
Each Pilot varies slightly in length from 2 to 4 days, view the pilot program section for a full breakdown of duration and dates.
IO in partnership with AVIN and industry partners have collaborated to bring together the available resources in our ecosystem to make this offering available for free as a way of testing out skills development solutions for Ontario’s workforce. Participants will not be liable for payment but will be required to provide feedback (informally and formally) and complete evaluations.
